I've tried it, so don't bother...you cannot substitute a non-dairy milk for the milk called for on the box of Jell-O® pudding. It doesn't "set".
But here's a recipe to try using Silk Soymilk, a staple in our house.
Sure, it's not as easy as mixing up some pudding using the powder from the box, but those of us who cook allergy-friendly foods are used to that, right? Happy cooking!
Thank you!! I want pudding so bad....
ReplyDeleteEnjoy Sabrina. I made it and it's really good!

Wanted to let you know what we use to make pudding. Rich's Whip Non Dairy topping...not in the bag since the bag contains casein. I use two cups of this and a box of pudding mix and we are in business. Looks like you can use soy so you could also try Coffee Rich. HTH!
ReplyDeleteI wonder how it would tastes with coconut milk.
ReplyDeleteWhat did you use for the margarine? Thanks for sharing -- been trying to find an easy recipe!
